Advanced Briefings allow you to schedule briefings and set rich text content like images, videos, and dot points
Turning ON Advanced Briefings
This feature can be tested in Beta on a site-by-site basis. To activate, go to the Settings tab and Enable Advanced Briefings
How to Set Up an Advanced Briefing:
Navigate to your Briefings Tab
Click on Schedule New Briefing
You can schedule a Start Date and an End Date
Start creating and modifying your Briefing by using the appropriate available editing icons
You have the option to check or unchecked:
“Show who set this briefing to workers?” is automatically checked to notify your workers to set up the Briefing
“Remind workers if briefing remains unread?”, a push notification will be sent 10 minutes, 30 minutes, and 90 minutes after signing on to the site to remind them to acknowledge the Briefing
5. Click on Publish when done
Setting rich text, links, images, and videos
Using the rich text tools at the top of the text box enables:
- Bold, Italic, Underline
- Sizing (headers and body)
- Dot points
- Videos (embed hyperlink to video)
To apply font editing tools, sizing, dot points or numeration first select the text and then use the toolbar to apply your settings.
To embed hyperlinks, select your text and add the URL for the link.
To embed images, ensure the cursor is placed where you want the image to appear in the text box and press the icon to select the image file
To embed videos, ensure the cursor is placed where you want the video to appear in the text box and press the icon to provide the URL of the video. NOTE - WE RECOMMEND THE USE OF YOUTUBE HYPERLINKS FOR BEST RESULTS.
To edit a briefing, press the 2 pages next to the briefing on the briefing page. Edit the briefing as required. Set the date to the dates you require the briefing to be shown. If this clashes with the existing briefing, the new briefing will override the old briefing shown.
To delete a briefing, press the red cross next to the briefing on the briefing page.
