Why and how to provide workers a choice of companies to choose from when they sign up with SignOnSite.
Site management can pre-set a list of companies that users can choose from when first signing on by using the Company Registration feature. By doing this, reporting errors are reduced (for example, Company A and Company A may represent the same company, but Co. A will be reported as 2).
You can manually generate the list, upload it from a CSV file, or sync it from a Procore project.
Manually Creating a Company List
Companies can be added under the Companies on Site section of your Web panel.
Uploading a CSV Company List
If you want to use the same company list over and over for each new site, you can create a.csv file that you upload to the site list for every new site.
When creating the list, be sure that it is only 1 column and without headers, as below:
Syncing with Procore as your Company List
If you use Procore and your site is linked to SignOnSite, you can sync the Procore Site Directory to the SignOnSite Company List.
If you want SignOnSite to automatically update from the Procore Directory every 24 hours, then make sure you have the Procore Auto Sync toggle ON.
