How the worker passport can help with safety and compliance

  1. Store all licenses and tickets digitally
  2. Pre-fill inductions forms (if the builder is using SignOnSite)
  3. Get alerted when licenses and tickets expire
  4. Share passport with other builders (even if they don't use SoS)

One of the key concepts with the worker passport is that it can be created off-site and at any time in the SignOnSite app.

That means you can invite users to the SignOnSite app (free to download) before they come to site, to gain the above benefits.

Getting started

Make sure you have updated your app, click the passport tab , and the 'create my passport' button to get started.

The passport holds 4 types of information:

  • Personal Information
  • Emergency Information
  • Credentials (tickets and licenses etc)
  • Connections (sites you have signed on to before)

Each sub-tab will require some minimum inputs of information - called out by the icons and notification badges.

Personal Information
This information will be used to pre-populate any induction form inside SignOnSite, and can also be audited by clicking a users name in the attendance register.

The personal details tab requires name, company, email, phone and trade information.

Workers can update the non-mandatory fields as desired.

Emergency Information
This information will be used to pre-populate any induction form inside SignOnSite, and can also be audited by clicking a users name in the attendance register.

Only one emergency contact is mandatory.

Credentials
Uploading tickets and licenses can be done at any time, in advance of going to site - then if these credentials are requested in an induction they will pre-populate from the users passport.

Connections
This tab shows sites that you have signed on to before, that are 'active' and not 'archived'

You can use the connections tab to check your induction status on your connected jobs, and also to end your connection with a site to stop your auto-sign on link with that site.

Sharing your passport
With your details loaded into the passport, you can share a .pdf copy of your info outside of SignOnSite.

Completing an induction with the passport
With your details loaded into the passport, when you complete a configured induction form, your information will prep-populate - allowing you to get to work faster without compromising data quality.

Viewing a workers passport

When a worker with a passport signs on site, you can view their passport by clicking on their name in the attendance register on the web.

NOTE - You will not be able to see a workers connections.

When viewing their credentials, you can click on each item to view photo evidence.
